# Connect to the R: Drive

### Remove the R: Drive

1. Press Windows Key + R simultaneously
2. The Run dialog box will appear

4. `net use r: /delete`
5. Press Enter

### Map the R: Drive

1. Please establish a [VPN connection](https://ne49.tech/vpn/globalprotect) and then follow these steps:
2. Press Windows Key + R simultaneously
3. The Run dialog box will appear

5. `net use r: \\hr-share.mit.edu\hr * /persistent:yes`
6. Press Enter

9. Press Enter.
10. The R: Drive should now be mapped successfully.
