## NE49 On Boarding

Get started by logging into some of the applications and services used at MIT

### First Day

1. Log into computer using user's [Kerberos username, password, and GlobalProtect VPN](https://ne49.tech/vpn/connect-before-login)
2. Install your [MIT Personal Certificates](https://ne49.tech/certs/certaid)
3. Launch Outlook, enter your e-mail address when prompted, then sign in to the MIT Touchstone box that appears with either the certficate you obtained in step 2, or your Kerberos username and password.
4. Log into [Zoom](https://ne49.tech/zoom)
5. Follow the instructions in the invitation e-mail you should have received from Slack inviting you to your department's Slack Workspace.
6. Sign into CrashPlan, and learn about our [Backup Policy](https://ne49.tech/crashplan)

### Second Day
